south in Florida USA.  She's harvested an original sound born from a mixture of baptist gospel, motown r'n'b,  country music and soul . As a young artist who's been writing and composing since the age of 11 or 12, Shanna's created a sound and interpretation that is unique and all her own. A warm, sultry, gritty but sweet voice is dedicated, passionate and engaged in the Blues...  She considers herself as a messenger for this true American artform. She studied dance, theater, communications and participated in every choral possible while seizing the chance to play in an off, off-broadway musical in NewYork.  She proudly admits, that during her highschool years,  she sang at the famous Apollo theatre in Harlem, N.Y. Barely out of school, she traveled to Europe and France, where she almost immediately started a fascinating long-lasting career contract in the Parisian cabarets and clubs as a solo artist. Having conquered France, all of Europe soon discovered the talented, author, song-writer, composer, performer, producer that she is.  Her foreign adventures have allowed her to open shows for James Brown, Buddy Guy, Matt Bianco, Mud Morganfield, and share the rosters with the likes of Louisiana Red, Poppa Chubby and many more. Shanna produced her first and second Blues album and is now working on the third with her group. As an accomplished Blues artist who tours most of the year, she serenly fulfills her mission for the Blues !
